We have a total of eight rustic cabins available within the

JBERD Cabin Complex. Come and visit us!

About the Cabins

We have at total of eight rustic cabins within the JBERD cabin complex. Cabins DO NOT have AC or running water. Each cabin includes (a) two separate rooms (with a separating door), (b) a small covered porch equipped with two chairs and a small table, and (c) a picnic table and fire ring (with cooking grate) outside. Each cabin sleeps 5-6 people.


Based on furnishings, we offer three types of cabins:

  1. Special Use Cabin (Cabins 1 and 2): These have two bunk beds with mattresses in the backroom, and a futon and small table with two chairs in the front room.
  2. Standard Cabin (Cabins 3 through 6): These have two bunk beds with mattresses in the backroom, and a full XL bed with mattress in the front room.
  3. Accessible Cabin (Cabins 7 and 8): These have two bunk beds with mattresses in the backroom, and a twin bed with mattress in the front room.


Things to Consider Before Making a Cabin Reservation

  • Reservations are for a 2-night minimum stay.
  • Only people 21 and older can make a reservation.
  • Cooking is not allowed inside the cabins.
  • Firewood is available for purchase on-site for $5, no outside firewood or collections are allowed.
  • Each cabin can request a maximum of two parking spots. The fee for an additional vehicle is $8.

What to Bring

Cabins are minimally furnished. For a comfortable stay, guests shall bring their own:

  • Sheets, linens, sleeping bags,and pillows
  • Food/beverages, cooler, and ice
  • Refillable water bottle(s), plates, utensils, napkins, etc.
  • Bug/tick spray and sunscreen
  • Lantern and/or headlamp
  • Toiletries and towels 
  • Fire starters
  • Anything else you may bring when camping


During check-in, guests can request to use a wagon (at the Ranger Station) to help move belongings from the parking area to their campsite/cabin. 


Upon departure, cabin occupants are required to empty their trash and recyclables into the respective containers at the trash disposal area by the parking lot. This facility will only recycle plastic bottles and aluminum cans to minimize contamination.
