River's Edge The Low Marsh is a type of tidal wetlands. It a has low diversity of plants, dominated by Spatterdock. Wild Rice also grows in the Low Marsh. You are at the end of the River Pier.

Low Marsh at High Tide At high tide, the Low Marsh plants are covered with water.
Low Marsh at Low Tide Mud flats are exposed in the low marsh at low tide.
Low Tide The drastic change between high and low tide makes the Low Marsh a hard place for many animals to live. Some animals that live in the Low Marsh include Great Blue Herons, Osprey, Muskrats and Dragonflies.
