Scout Projects
Considering a project at Jug Bay...
The Sanctuary has 3 primary goals that are incorporated into all that we do.
o Education - Provide environmental education opportunities
o Research - Conduct ecological research
o Stewardship - Conserve Jug Bay’s unique ecosystem
We encourage scouts to visit the Sanctuary and walk the grounds to get a feel for what the area is like.
We also encourage browsing the website to learn more about the activities that go on here to see if our goals match your interests.
Based on what you learn, try and come up with at least one project idea.
From there we can set up a meeting to discuss options. We have our own project ideas, but your own creative suggestions help make for a more rewarding experience.
